Clean place with superfriendly and pretty friendly staff and exceptional view of the lake. Unique room with an exceptionally comfortable bed, friendly service. Elegant spa-like bathroom. Magnificent and favourable location in fantastic area, near to the general communal areas.

appreciated waldeck, the hotel was beautifully kept and reasonably priced right at the castle. the location turned out to be exceptionally nice, just off the other restaurant and a hill with beautiful view of the lake below and woodlands showing autumn colours. you can find restaurant altane minutes from the venue to a have lunch. our rooms where functional and modern with superb view and the bathroom, as example.

The hotel was clean and modern, with magic views of the lake. the venue was in a magnificent location close to the national park. - We went to see the lake, which was just a 5-minute walk from the hotel. - the gourmet restaurant food was tasty.

This place boasts fantastic staff who go above and beyond, modern rooms, and a nice touch with the soft drinks in the main bar - definitely a cool spot to stay.

The beds are incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep, and the showers are refreshing and invigorating. Parking is a breeze, and they even have a secure area for motorcycles. The town of Waldeck, just a short walk away, offers a variety of dining options, including a fantastic Greek restaurant. The staff at this hotel are friendly and helpful, with excellent English skills that make check-in and check-out a breeze.

The old castle atmosphere, best location and the sauna.

comfort room lakeview was rather a suite with separate bedrooom. Excellent and very tasteful furnishing (wooden floors, leather sofa etc.)Location high above Eder See just great. Sauna a bit small compared to number of rooms but also extremely well decorated

Tbh, had a nice stay during our visit. Everything was modern, helpful staff, magnificent views of the lake. The location of the hotel was amazing and fantastic, to the national park: )

The rooms at Hotel Schloss Waldeck are absolutely stunning! I felt like I was living in a fairytale with the breathtaking views of Lake Edersee and the surrounding nature parks right outside my window. The elegant decor and cozy atmosphere made me feel right at home. Plus, the bath robes, slippers, and free toiletries provided added a touch of luxury to my stay.

Personally, I wasn't too fond of the bath robes. But hey, that's just my own opinion.

The views were stunning, and the rooms spacious and modern. It was great to have a spa on-site with various treatments available. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding woods and the lake with its bike-friendly trails.

The lack of air conditioning wasn't ideal and made for some uncomfortable moments. Service was friendly enough, but not always helpful or attentive.

The renovation of the castle was very well done. The staff were freindly and efficient.

The windows need screens to prevent the flying insects entering the room. This is a special problem in the spring when the insects are plentiful.

Beautiful location overlooking the dam, large and comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, easy parking and safe for motorcycles.
